The College Tribune has tonight learned that the Gardaí were called to the UCDTV offices yesterday, generic in connection with homicidal remarks made by an auditionee.

Speaking exclusively to the auditor of the society, Joey Harper told the Tribune ‘ We were holding auditions for a sci fi short film and a joke made by one auditionees was mistaken as a threat by another,’

It is believed that the auditionee made homicidal comments in connection with the audition itself, resulting in the Gardaí being called to the offices to interview those present.

While the identities of the students involved is not known, Harper remarked that  ‘The guards spoke to both of them and cleared things up,’

He then went on to describe the event as a ‘misunderstanding,’
