What Have the Pythons Ever Done for Us?
Starting on April Fools day and continuing through to May, Dublin and Galway will see a celebration of the works of the Monty Python Group. This will also be an opportunity to celebrate Terry Gillian , a member of the Monty Python group and a director in his own right directing films such as Brazil ,A Fish called Wanda and Labyrinth.

The screenings will take place in the Lighthouse Cinema in Dublin and Palas in Galway. Highlights include Monty Python and  the Holy Grail , the knights of the round table comedy classic,  The Fisher King starring Jeff Bridges and Robin Williams which explores the relationship between an eccentric homeless man and a suicidal DJ, and Lost in Mancha, a behind the scenes film that gives an insight into filmmaking, both the hilarious and the horrendous sides. This is a great opportunity for Monty Python fans and comedy lovers to indulge in the Monty Python phenomenon, a group that had complete creative control and broke the trends in television comedy.
