UCD student John Logue is set to become the next President of the Union of Students in Ireland (USI). Logue was favoured over Ciarán Nevin, buy viagra current DITSU President, by delegates gathered at this year’s USI Congress in Co. Galway.

Logue will replace Gary Redmond, also a UCD student,  who has spent two years at the helm of USI.

Logue is a former USI Eastern Area Officer. The Donegal man ran for the position of UCDSU Education Officer in 2010 but was defeated by James Williamson.

Significantly, Logue says he in favour of campaigning for a graduate tax rather than continuing USI’s current fight for free fees.

  2. By “KBC’er” Ken means Logue is in Fianna Fail.

    Did anyone challenge him on his membership of the fact that his party, while in government, brought the Reg Fee to 1500euro?
