After transferable votes, cheap the Education total stands at:

Comer (+264): 2042

Geoghegan (+278): 1744

There were 77 nontransferable votes. Neither candidate reached the quota of 2199; Shane Comer has been elected by default the Education Vice-President of 2012/13.

4.50pm:

Karl Gill and Aisling Sheerin have been eliminated from the Campaigns and Communications race.

After transferable votes totals stand at:

Atkinson (+3): 1505

Gill (+4): 596

Guiney (+2): 1609

Sheerin (+6): 680

There were 77 non-transferable votes.

Sheerin and Gill have been eliminated as neither of them reached the quota of 2234.

Micheál Gallagher has been elected Welfare Officer

The total valid votes for the Welfare race in the first count was 4424; the quota was 2213.

Enda Conway received 2051 votes.

Micheál Gallagher polled 2187.

RON recived 186.

RON has been eliminated.

The quota for the Presidential race was 2185.

Total votes polled for Rachel Beslin were 3744 – exceeding the quota by 1159.

Speaking to the College Tribune, generic Breslin said that she was delighted, troche “I’m very humbled by it … it’s going to be a mountain to climb but i do think we’re going to be able to do it and I look forward to it.”

Asked about the low Re-Open Nominations total, Breslin stated that she respects that people may have preferred more options but she hopes to prove herself worthy over the year.
