A group of students protesting in Trinity Colleges Dining Hall have reportedly being locked into the hall with no access to food, water or toilets.
The group which includes Trinity SU President Kevin Keane are protesting at the proposed introduction of a €450 fee for supplemental exams from next year.
Speaking to the University Times Keane called the situation ‘unacceptable’.
According to reports several security men are outside the building and are refusing access to the hall.
