‘Roise’ Dir. Paddy Breathnach

Now showing in cinemas.

‘Roddy Doyle’s screenplay puts a human face to Dublin’s homeless issue and the increasing numbers of families affected. Rosie (Sarah Greene), partner John Paul (Moe Dunford), and their four young children have been forced to move from their long-term home due to their landlord’s desire to sell, and are now living out of their car, trying to find even a night’s accommodation while they do their best to maintain the children’s regular routines. Director Paddy Breathnach’s social realist style, evocative of filmmakers such as Ken Loach and the Dardenne brothers, offers an invaluable insight into the lives of those in crisis.’

‘Intimacy’ Exhibition Launch

Venue: Science Gallery, Trinity College
Date: 18th October 2018

There has never been a more important time to examine the way we relate to each other and ask whether our definition of INTIMACY needs a reboot. Join us for the launch of INTIMACY as we get a bit closer to the artwork— and each other. What would you share for an intimate moment with a stranger? Find out with our intimate tours of the exhibition, our very own ‘Relationshop’ and choice tunes from the glorious DJ Glamo who will be our music maestro for the night. Also on hand will be the Science Gallery Cafe providing tasty treats and inviting you to give them your deepest secret, in return for a stranger’s secret for you to keep.
So let go of all your inhibitions, move a little bit closer and share more than just a drink this launch night.’ The exhibition runs from the 19th of October to the 24th of February 2019.
