As the red carpet is well and truly rolled out and  we are currently in the depths of awards season; with the Oscars quickly approaching in February what better time is it to look at the red carpet style so far? We have seen some sumptuous style so far but some looks have definitely stood out from the others.

Jennifer Aniston in Saint Laurent and Neil Lane jewellery at the Golden Globes

unnamed (10)

Jennifer Aniston is the epitome of effortless style in this knockout Saint Laurent Number. The dress is timeless and flatters her figure perfectly  and shows off her incredible pins . As per usual she doesn’t make a wrong move and looks every bit her glamorous youthful self.

Anna Kendrick in Monique Lhuillier at the Golden Globes

unnamed (11)

Anna Kendrick looks like the perfect prom queen in Monique Lhuillier. The dusty rose colour of the dress compliments her pale skin tone and the dark pink appliqué adds warmth to the ensemble. Anna Kendrick starred in the nominated Into Woods musical alongside Meryl Streep.

Eddie Redmayne, salve in Prada, sale with a Chopard watch at the SAG Awards

unnamed (12)

It can’t be denied that Eddie Redmayne is one of the best dressed so far this awards season. At the Screen Actor Guild awards he looked incredibly dapper in Prada with a timeless Chopard watch. Nothing better than a well-dressed man with an award. Redmayne was named outstanding actor for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in the Theory of everything.

Lupita Nyong’o, physician in Elie Saab, with Sophia Webster shoes at the SAG Awards

unnamed (14)

Lupita’s watercolour striped Elie Saab dress was breathtaking – the long sleeves of the dress balances out the deep V neckline which suits Lupita so well. The look was an overall award winner and that red lip she donned was like the cherry on top.

Lena Dunham in Zac Posen and Irene Neuwirth jewellery at the Golden Globes

unnamed (13)

Lena Dunham seemed to have a penchant for selecting slightly gaudy red carpet looks but at this year’s Golden Globes she looked every bit the style icon. The shape and cut of the Zac Posen gown worked really well with her body and the backless quality of the dress framed her tattoos perfectly. She looked nothing less than glamorous.
