Reading week will move into fifth gear this evening as UCDSU prepare to throw open the doors to their late night study area in the Student Centre’s Astra Hall this evening. The facility, which has been in place annually for a number of years will be open from 11pm to 3am tonight and will be open daily until Wednesday, December 16th.
The 11pm to 3am opening hours are in place each evening with the exception of Friday 4th (23:00-01:00), Saturday 5th (20:00-01:00), Saturday 12th (20:00-01:00) and Sunday 13th (20:00-03:00). This Sunday, December 6th, will see the facility remain open overnight from 8pm to 8am ahead of the first of 2015’s Christmas exams on Monday.
The late night study area compliments extended opening hours offered by UCD Library which sees the James Joyce Library open from 7am to 12am Monday to Friday and 9am to 9pm on weekends. The extended opening hours are in place until December 19th.
