Ranking the country as a whole Ireland rests at 24th place on the league table, with Trinity College Dublin taking 170th place, having also witnessed a rise since last year.
“We have seen that, in terms of research impact, our citation levels are increasing as academics around the world use the findings of our scholars to further their own work.” remarked President of UCD, Professor Andrew Deeks early today on the university’s rise in rankings.
While the results of the league table largely revealed positives for Ireland’s two leading universities, UCC moved from inside the 301-400 bracket to 454th place.
