Speaking about the event UCDSU President Barry Murphy said ‘Over the last number of years UCD’s RAG week has died a little. Historically RAG Week has tended to be held off campus with various events happening in town. However this year we have chosen to host the majority of our events on campus to bring back the sense of community. We’re fundraising for two really worthy charities that can give something back to UCD students, Pieta House and the DRCC. Hopefully, from this, UCD RAG Week will continue to grow and become as big and raise as much as our friends in Galway, Cork, and Limerick!”

This year’s chosen charities are Pieta House and The Dublin Rape Crisis Center. Wristbands go on sale Thursday 8th of February and can be purchased from all three SU shops on the Belfield campus.
