In the past hour it has transpired that academic results for the Spring trimester of the academic year 2019/20 have been released to at least some UCD students on SISWEB. The results were due to be released throughout the day of Monday June 22nd.

Students began noticing that they could view their results on SISWEB at around 11am on June 19th, with one student taking to Twitter to say “…u can see your ‘unofficial’ results on sisweb lol (under coursework).”  Both undergraduate and postgraduate students have had their results released.

From the accounts of students that The College Tribune has been in contact with, it is only the individual grades of modules, and not the breakdown of coursework, which is visible at this time.

Other students noted that in modules where they had not completed any assignments, their grades for these modules had not yet been released. This would suggest that the grades released do not take into account all assessment components, and that students’ grades may change when official results are released.

It is also believed that all students have yet to receive their final semester GPA for the spring 2020 term.

It unclear at this time whether the release of results is intentional by UCD staff, or if it is an administrative mistake.

UPDATE: UCD have told The College Tribune that UCD IT have identified an issue and they are investigating the matter.
