University College Dublin and the HSE are operating a walk-in clinic for COVID-19 booster vaccinations for all students and staff this Thursday the 20th of January.
The clinic will operate between 11 am and 3 pm in the Gerard Manley Hopkins Building. (Main Restaurant) The clinic is open to all UCD staff and students who have yet to receive their COVID-19 booster shot.
Those hoping to attend the clinic are asked to bring an ID that shows their date of birth, their mobile phone number, email address, eircode and their PPS number if available.
UCD has hosted a number of vaccine clinics since the COVID-19 vaccination programme began having hosted both walk-in and by appointment vaccinations first for the initial two doses and also booster shots.
Writing in a bulletin to staff yesterday, UCD President, Andrew Deeks, said that ‘the national vaccination programme has been key to reducing infection numbers and reducing the severity of the disease in those who are infected.’ He added that ‘first dose vaccines are also available for anyone who has not been vaccinated to date.’
